Spell Check – Part I

Posted by: admin    in Be Empowered, Uncategorized

I receive the most interesting private e-mails with questions from readers.  For those of you too shy to post public comments let me reiterate:

It’s okeedokey to post questions under public comments.

I promise never to e-blast you at some later date or sell your e-mail addresses to others.

Your public comments, unless inappropriately profane, will always be approved.

Unless specifically asked to keep things private I like to share questions with everyone because it gives me fodder for my blog.

Having said that let me get to the latest question I’ve been asked.

“Are you a witch?”

Well gee; don’t stereotype me just because I have a broom at my front door, cabinets full of herbs, creatures floating in oil, volumes of reference books that would make the Library of Congress envious, and Granny boots!  The honest answer is, I am a Dyson vacuum cleaner for any information regarding the “old ways”.  I’m cross cultural.  I multi-task.  I mix and match.  I experiment.

On the heels of THAT question, I was then asked, “What books on Spells should I buy?”  Being incredibly self-serving I’ve placed The Everything Love Spells Book link on my Amazon recommendations to the right of my posts.  (Self-serving in the fact that I was honorably noted in the acknowledgements.)  Brushing my two seconds of celebrity to the side, this book written by Kaile Dutton and Jodi St. Onge is practical, effective and very well written.

Today was a light and refreshing post; a soupcon if you will.

Tomorrow’s post, Spell Check – Part II, will be akin to a roasted fatty duck smothered in a heavy wine cream sauce.  Pretty to gaze upon, but difficult to digest.
